19th May 2002	was John at rorks drift By John Dwight does anyone know if a John Dwight was at rorks drift. it is known he was out there at that time in the SWB.

19th May 2002	Bill Cainan John According to the "Noble 24th" there was a Pte J Dwight (1016) who was transferred from F to G Company (2/24th) at Rorke's Drift on 31/1/1879. He was therefore not one of the defenders of the Drift, nor on those left in Camp at Isandlwana. It was liklely he was with F Company (2/24) - Capt Church commanding - on the 22nd January 1879 that was part of Chelmsford's force. Bill
