12th June 2002125th Anniversary of Rorke's Drift - 22/23 January 2004

I have been approached by Mrs Sandra Barker - the granddaughter of Pte Frederick Hitch VC to see whether it is feasible to run a trip from the UK to the Anglo-Zulu war battlefields to coincide with the 125th anniversary of the famous battle of Rorke's Drift especially for descendants of the soldiers who fought there. I have a number of names on file and I will be contacting them, but if anyone is interested please contact me. To be considered you must have a link with a particular soldier. There will be other trips being organised around the anniversary, but this group will be special.

I am the great great granddaughter of Pte John Williams VC, and would be interested in the 125th anniversary trip, however I currently reside in Canada and was wondering if we would still be allowed to join the group. please email me and let me know what has been done thus far. Thank you.
