21st July 2002	987 Private Robert ADAMS -- any Information? By Victoria Adams Family legend has it that he is an ancestor. We certainly had lots of family members in the various incarnations of the welsh regiment -- I have lots of memorberial from my great grandfather and it was always said it was an uncle or cousin that was at RD. Any info on Robert Adams?

21st July 2002	John Young Victoria, Private 25th Brigade No. 987 Roberts Adams, was killed in action, whilst a patient at the hospital at Rorke's Drift. For further references see; 'The Noble 24th', by Norman Holme, 'The Rorke's Drift Doctor', by Lee Stevenson, 'Nothing Remains but to Fight', by Ian Knight & my own 'They Fell Like Stones'. He is buried in the walled graveyard at Rorke's Drift. Hope that's of some use. Regards, John Young, Chairman, Anglo-Zulu War Research Society.
