31st August 2002	Documents on "Sphix badge By Clive Dickens I must thank Mr Martin Everett for the brilliant information he sent to me on my question regarding the "Sphnix " Badge it certainly is a very interesting few documents and I think it is so nice and a tribute to this web site that we can help one another in this way thank you very much Martin and in a way of thanks I have made a small donation to your very wonderfull museum in Brecon Thanks again Clive Dickens

21st September 2002	L.J.KNIGHT. IN THE BOOK,REGIMENTAL BADGES.BY A MAJOR EDWARDS.[1952] ALL THE SPHNIX DEVICES ON BRITISH REGIMENTAL COLOURS AND BADGES ARE OF THE WRONG TYPE.[FEMALE] INSTEAD HE SUGGESTS THAT THEY SHOULD BE OF A MALE TYPE IE,[THOMOSES THE THIRD] I DONT KNOW IF THIS IS COMMONLY KNOWN.
