The article said the actor had purchased some of Chard;s personal items, and among them was the original VC |
25th October 2002 | David Bluestein Without divulging ANY personal information about previous owners of the Chard VC; I will say however that his medal was in Canada, purchased by a private collector (friend) after it left the Baker estate. (I held the VC in my hand, and will cherish that moment for many years to come). The medal has since been sold and is back home somewhere in the UK.
(NONE of the above info comes close to divulging ANY possible link to an owner.)
