You are correct it is due to be screened in January 2003 but no precise date as not been given at present,I would keep an eye on Ian Knight's Zulu site (se links) if I where you

Dear Steve and Clive,
I am not aware of the new Ian Knight project, but I have been asked to supply info for a new TV documentary to coincide with the 125th anniversary of Rorke's Drift in January 2004. As I understand it, the programme will tell the story based on contemporary accounts. Which is a novel approach. |

I have been looking out for the history channel documentary but nothing showing on the schedules up to Sunday 12 January.
However, The Mystery of Zulu Dawn is being shown on the Adventure One (Channel 560 on Sky) at 10.00am on Sunday 12 January.

I understand from Ian Knight that there are three TV programme series in preparation from Cromwell Films covering the AZW. The first written by Ian is due for broadcasting on UK History in January 2003. The title is 'Reluctant Enemy; Britain's War Against the Zulus'. I hope this doesn't confuse matters! |
