1st January 2003 | Email Virus By Keith Smith May I advise readers that two of our regular correspondents have emailed me privately recently with the same virus attached. Please check your machines with whatever you find appropriate to remove these nasties - they can do great damage to any programs or data
on our discs.

1st January 2003 | Peter Ewart Me too, this evening. From the _ in the address & the attachment icon it was quite obviously despatched unknowingly in the usual way of these things & carrying a virus, presumably via his address book?
There appears to be a clue in one of the other postings under today's date!

2nd January 2003 | John Young Just to let you know this is the "badtrans virus". It appears an e-mail with the title box empty so it reads - Re: with an attachment paperclip.
My computer first detected it on an e-mail from Clive, and there was another one that arrived today.
