Morning all. Could anyone please give me any information on the Privates Waters and Beckett? I am researching some family history and the names Waters and Beckett are both in my close family so any information on the pair would be much appreciated.

Detail on both soldiers are published in the Noble 24th by Norman Holme and Rorke's Drift by Adrian Greaves. Beckett was probably born in Manchester and Waters in Lichfield. Waters's service papers are in the PRO at Kew. If you are still interested contact us direct - [email protected]
