Dear Stephanie,
There was no soldier with the name Hussien who served in the 24th Regt during the Anglo-Zulu War, nor in the South Wales Borderers from 1881-1900. However, there is a J. Husein who served in the SWB and the Royal Regiment of Wales and recently retired after nearly 40 years service.
