125th Anniversary By Keith Smith I have just received an advance bulletin of activities at Isandlwana to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the battle in the coming January: Thu 22/1, MOTH's parade and wreath laying, with local amaButho. Fri 23/1: Schools day and free talks. Sat 24/1: Early am, annual Marathon Isandlwana to Rorke's Drift. Late am and pm, addresses by dignitaries, guard of honour, amaButho anthem. Sun 25/1: Reconciliation service at St. Augustine's (north of RD, and not St Vincent's, at Isandlwana).;wreath-laying at Rorke's Drift; re-enactments at Isandlwana and Rorke's Drift.
