Date | Original Topic | 24th May 2004 | John Chard By W.R. Dowling Did John Chard have a relative who served as as an officer with the British Forces in North Africa during WWII? I noticed where an officer by the last name of Chard was involved in an action at Outpost Snipe in the African desert. Anyone know? | Date | Replies | 24th May 2004 | Mike McCabe Very possibly. Could have been Lt Col WWM (Mike) Chard of the Royal Fusiliers. However, details would need checking thoroughly. There are other possibilities.
Have you more details than that?
