23rd July 2004	British artillery By Chris Chilcott A really basic question but one I'm currently struggling to find an answer to, despite plowing throguh numerous books and websites. Anybody know what colour the artillery carriages and wagons deployed by the British in the ZW were? Thanks in anticipation.

23rd July 2004	Peter Quantrill Chris, Regulations Field Forces South Africa published November 1878, para 75: ' Each wagon will be distinguished by a small flag, viz:- Artillery ----Blue and red.'
