Date | Original Topic | 29th December 2004 | michael minihan By mary dineen while strolling in an old graveyard at Castletownsend, West Cork, Ireland I came across the grave of the above who was one of the defenders of Rorkes Drift. The memorial was recently erected and appeared to be well maintained. I know very little about the battle but the memorial intrigued me. Michael Minihan died in 1891 and is buried in a breathtakingly beautiful place. Does anyone have any information on him. | Date | Replies | 30th December 2004 | Martin Everett Dear Mary,
