Dear All,
the number of '80 descendants of Rorke's Drift defenders' was quoted as the figure that attended the event at Ruddington this Sunday. I've personally never seen this many descendants together at one event so this feat (acheived by Kris Wheatley and the organisers) must represent some kind of record.

Although invited to Ruddinton I was unfortunatly unable to attend. As I have epilepsy I'm not allowed to drive and well sunday transport isn't that good between Bridgend and Ruddington lol. ( well lets be honest its fairly rubbish between Bridgend and Cardiff on the Sabeth tee hee) Such a trip would therefore have involved a two night stop over on the sat and sun which was not really an option for me.
However I am hopefull of making the St Martin in the fields service in September Should be a good turn out I think.
