Dear Forum Members,

I am shortly to be engaged in a publicity photoshoot where I wear my 2nd/24th Uniform as I mimic my ancestor 593 Pte William Jones VC. I just called Angel's in Hendon to see if they had a Martini Henry for hire but they don't stock any guns.
Does anybody know where I can get hold of an authentic Martini Henry (no plastic ones please) for the shoot to hire from anywhere please. Any help would be welcome. As I don't do 're-enactment' per se there's no point me buying a Martini Henry outright.
Will let you all know as the project develops as it should be available for all to see shortly. Thanks.

Tony Jones.

Tony,
The company which supplies guns to the entertainment industry is called Bapty's. I called them when researching my book, though I seem to have misplaced the number. They shouldn't be hard to find, though.

Dear Sheldon,
thanks for the info. I'll see if I can get hold of one tommorow.

Tony.
