Anyone seen this book ?

It is mentioned on amazon, but appears not to have been published, or am I mistaken ?

It is supposed to cover uniforms and equipment.

No your not mistaken! It was never published.
I remember receiving a flyer about this book, from Brasseys the publishers, about 10 years ago. I just don't understand why it is still advertised on Amazon! If I am not mistaken illustrations from the book appeared in various issues of Military Illustrated Magazine some years back, they were by the renowned Military artist Richard Hook.

I think the author was Ian Castle rather than Ian Knight.

I seem to recall that it was a joint effort by Ian Castle, Ian Knight and illustrated by Richard Hook. It was due to be published in the Summer of 1999.

There is an illustration of the book's front cover on amazon, although quite blurred, which does appear to have Ian Knight & Ian Castle as the authors.

I wonder why it was never published ?
