Can anyone please advise me what are the best figures to use for a Diorama that I'm thinking of doing.
The base area will be approx 4ft by 3ft and the figures 1/32 scale or possibly 1/72.
As it will be on a large scale and the figure used will be many (so cost is very relevant) can you please let me know what you think the best figures to go with would be and where the best places are to get them.
On another note. For a small detailed Diorama what are the best (and I mean best) figures to use please.
Thank you for any info.

Are you meaning ready-painted, or do you paint your own ?

A diorama with numerous figures, 1/72 would be better, but a much smaller diorama with few figures, 1/32 or 1/35 would be good.

As for costs, try plastics, as they are much cheaper.

This is a good company that supplies most makes -

Harfields Military Figure Specialists.

They have their own site with images and details.

If including wagons in an 1/72 diorama, Imex have a wagon train set, which you could maybe alter to suit, but also another ammunition and ambulance wagon set.

Redoubt Enterprises have 1/72 Rorke's Drift buildings and bell tents.

Hope this is of some help.
