I was just wondering if anybody could shed any light on why Private Wilcox was not posted to Gibraltar after the war with the rest of the 2/24th. I believe he may have been in prison in Pinetown, but does anybody know why?

It is a very long saga - but there is a set of documents in WO97/4061 in the National Archives.
