Oh, Mike, I don't know if the credit card can take much more!!! Wink

I presume it's going to be available at the Brecon Museum at some stage?

If only it all came to me!!

I regret to have to tell you that this one is a tad more expensive at 25 as it has 8 pages of colour plates, as well as the usual array of B&W and 8 maps. 320 pages of text I think. Lady Butler on the front cover. Now, I don't want you robbing post offices to raise the cash!!

The Greenhill website by the way says publication date is 1 Feb - but I'll ring my editor on Monday to be doubly sure.

And yes the lovely Celia at the Brecon Museum will be selling them - by far the best way of course of acquiring the book and at the same time supporting AZW heritage. I am sure she will be taking pre-orders.

Regards as ever

Hi Mike,
Hope you don't mind me asking, but as you know, there are enough books out there on Rorke's Drift to fill the Albert Hall. Some good and some pretty bad.
Before we fork out 25 quid, can you give us some idea of how yours will be different.
HCMDB, a great read, by the way.

I think you answered your own question: 'a great read' just about sums it up. I'm sure LWOTF will be as good as HCMDB.

Hi Tom

No, I don't mind you asking at all; it's a perfectly reasonable question though Dawn makes a fair point - if you enjoyed HCMDB, then LWOTF should be a safe bet. I can't really sing the praises of my own book here as that would be outrageous advertising, not to say rather ungentlemanly!! But if you want to e-mail me privately I would be delighted to respond to any questions you may have.

Regards
