The printer tells me the first run will be finished tomorrow so I should be able to get copies to the Museum by about Tuesday.
There are five essays in total - 85 pages -

The Cochrane Accounts of Isandhlwana - updated and 'unmangled' from how it first appeared

Reading between the Lines: An Analysis of the
Alleged Pulleine-Cavaye Order of 22.1.1879 - an opportunity to lay out all the latest evidence on this forgery

More Noble 24th: An Addendum to Norman
Holmes Monumental Work - updated and expanded since it first appeared over a decade ago.

Moderation and Forbearance: South African Confederation
and the Origins of the Zulu War - a fresh view on the subject, I hope Coll's pleased with it since it was he who some time ago asked for it

Private David Jenkins and a Contemporary Roll of Rorkes
Drift Defenders - originally supposed to be 8 pages long but with the discovery of a new letter and the realization that a contemporary Roll of RD defenders needed to be found it assumed much larger proportions and has nudged an article on the Royal Artillery into the next volume

I hope you enjoy it.

Excellent - really looking forward to Volume II, particularly the first two essays listed above.

There's been a distinct lack of high calibre and well researched material to read lately, so I'm sure this will make up for that!

For those of you who have bought Studies in the Zulu War volume II there are four annoying corrigenda as below. I'll get them corrected in subsequent print runs.

Page 29 line 4 delete Chelmsford insert Carnarvon
Page 59 line 21 delete unable insert able
Page 75 line 23 delete 1st-5th insert 1st-6th
line 24 delete 6th-8th insert 8th
