Now I'm confused... "Night of the 40,000 asseis"? I swear it says "spears" on the one-sheet! A typo on your part perchance? I think the "40,000" just seemed like a good high number for the promo of the film and is in the ball park of the total number of foot soldiers the Zulu could field at any given time.
Let's not forget Billy Fish! Oh no, by Jove! He was a great character in TMWWBK!

Sawabona - Let me check my poster at home and recite exactly what it does say! You must be right, all this mumbo jumbo to promote the movie and make it seem even bigger than the actual number of fighters at rorke's drift. Many Amercian movie posters have tag lines that don't read well or don't appear to have much relevance to the actual movie. poor english generally.
