Im not sure how much the Zulu War 1879 is written about in modern newspapers...though reckon itll be things like anniversaries, dedications, auctioning of VCs from Rorkes Drift, etc.

However, would the recent release of new evidence in Kris Herrons books, be of interest to the British population in articles detailing the events post-Isandhlwana and the Royal Engineer investigation ?

This could bring the story to a wider audience, than books, forums, etc., if included in newspapers instead of military magazines.

Ive no idea about such things, as there is constant mentioning of not being PC with so many things related to 1879...but I feel this disclosure is of public interest, as there must be thousands of descendants of those killed at Isandhlwana and the other battles, plus of disease, etc., during the campaign.

It will be of value in raising the profile of the lesser-knowns too....
