I dont think I posted this on here but while I was on Facebook.
Over the years I had put forward the suggestion of an Isandhlwana book to Osprey Publishing for their Graphic History series, to hopefully interest a younger readership in the Zulu War 1879.
However, without success, but in my internet searches during that time found this which appears to have been published in time for the 100th Anniversary, as with most comics, accuracy in uniforms, etc., isnt necessarily the main aim, but to make an exciting read visually.
Ive been meaning to get a copy as a novelty item, but also to see for myself how Isandhlwana was presented in this format for future reference, if Osprey or some other publisher takes on the project.
Interesting that it isnt a British language publication being our military history.
Not sure if the young of today, with all the distractions, even have or read such publications any more, which I think is a great loss, as it makes history interesting and more appealing to gain an interest.
