Elsewhere on this Forum there has been much talk about Martini-Henry and Swinburne- Henry rifle and carbines, but has anyone else noticed the occasional use of bolt-action Mauser rifles in "Zulu?" This is most noticeable in the scene where the two ranks adance towards the south wall to beat of another Zulu attack.

Indeed, an oft mentioned 'slip'. The production company did not have enough MHs for the shoot, so used Lee Enfields to suppliment those wpns used in the scene.
