If anyone is interested, on BBC2 at 8.30pm tonight, there is a live performance of Gustav Holst's 'The Planets' by the Scottish Symphony Orchestra.

I hope Mars (Bringer of War) sounds as good as on my cd.

I always thought 'Mars' would be great title music for a new Isandlwana film.

Anyway. Thought I'd let you know.

Right on Coll, pretty good choice....I like that one too....me, I go with "Music For the Royal Fireworks"!.....music by George H.....we have "setup", "attack", the calm before the next "storm "and then the biggie close... Cool ..........

You might know that the coda of the 'Jupiter' movement has been adopted by the Brits as 'I vow to thee my country' and was also my old school song.

Keith..you know each time I hear that piece now it reminds me of Diana's funeral...I'm certain I heard it then....
