Dear All,
hot off the press "Writers' News" features details of an annual writing contest for 18-24 year-olds, launched by The Daily Telegraph to honour David Rattray. The winner will enjoy a two-night stay at Fugitives-Drift,visit the battlefields and receive �2,000. there are also runner-up prizes of �1,000. Entrants need to write an essay of between 800- 1,200 words, with the theme on 'reconciliation' and a reference to Battlefields. Closing date 30th April. oh dear! I've only just read about it but it did cross my mind that I may have already seen it mentioned on this forum when I glanced through a while back. Never mind, I'm too old to enter anyway.
