Did Hamilton Browne ever fight against the Sioux in the U.S.?I ask because I thought I read that in How Man Can Die Better.

Andrew,

In one of his yarns, he makes some remark about his wounds, and states he was wounded by an arrow in a campaign against the Lakota. I can't locate the text at present, but I was told the inference is to make the reader believe it was the infamous 1876 campaign.

As soon as I can find it I'll post it.
