Thank you Coll.
This will simply be an alternative take on Zulu Dawn for fans of the original movie. Many have a misconception that a FanEdit in someway harms the original. This is not the case. In this digital age it is possible to watch your choice of media in many variant forms without any harm coming to the original. I recommend watching one of my previous FanEdits called D-DAY: THE BEGINNING OF THE END http://fanedit.org/497/ This shows a little of what is possible in the medium of the FanEdit. You must own the original DVD before obtaining the FanEdit version. |

A very smooth-running piece of work - Nicely done ! I really like the inclusion of the actual mountain, as it is an iconic image, necessary for this battlefield. I'm definitely a fan. Thanks Coll |

There is no buying or selling of any FanEdit. You must own the original DVD of the movie, in this case ZULU DAWN before you may watch the FanEdit. A release date is not yet confirmed. |

Andrew,
When or if ZULU DAWN: The FanEdit is released it will be announced here and on FanEdit.org with all the information needed to watch it. You do NOT need to send a copy of your DVD to anyone. I would recommend you find out more about FanEdits by visiting FanEdit.org http://fanedit.org/ Or for a definition http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fan_edit |

I've recently been listening to 'The Planets' by Gustav Holst, reminding myself of how 'Mars' (the bringer of war) is great music for a dramatic war film, especially about Isandlwana. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LObcRCCgO1I Additionally, I liked 'Brothers In Arms' by Dire Straits, as an idea for end music, which, funnily enough, I've just seen/heard used on the TCM channel during an advertisement for a war film season, showing clips from various movies of this genre, the song itself 'fitting in' fairly well with the subject matter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhdFe3evXpk&feature-related I just thought I'd post this while it is in my mind.
