I have noted a sudden plethora of still photographs from Zulu being hawked on Ebay and this has caused me to ponder the rights of the individual owners of the property.

Here is an example:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ZULU-VERY-RARE-GLOSS-27cm-x-13-cm-widescreen-photo-/120612403319?pt=UK_DVD_Film_TV_TV_Memorabilia_LE

Is this purveyor one of those or is he/she chancing their arm?

These are not "very rare" glossy photos. They are screen shots from the DVD. Anyone can produce these on a modern computer using Frame Grab.
I would suspect that copyright has, indeed, been infringed here by offering them for sale.
