Has anyone heard of this gentleman before or investigated his claims to be a Rorke's Drift Defender?

1232 Private J Williams (no forename noted), Corporal in F Company 23/1/1879 (Orders Book - Rorke's Drift), awarded 1877-8-9 clasp, according to The Noble 24th. So at RD, just not at the time of the defence.
