Many Many years ago there was a post about the recovered Isandlwana cannons return. This was in the "old discussion forum" (inactive). From memory it was a snippit of the report from woolwich. It detailed the damage to carriages, the cannon and listed the serial numbers of the cannon. For years I had this printed out and now of course I can't locate it. I also can not remember the author of the post to contact directly. If anyone remembers or has this information could you please message or email me?

No It was rather deep. I investigated the article you sent me which lead to another and yet another. I finally recognized a name from the report and linked it up. Many thanks for putting me on the path.
