I pleased to see that Peter and Alan are ignoring age discrimination by employing CS Bourne as a moderator of this forum - by my guess the old soldier must be at least 153 years old on his birthday next month. An excellent choice as moderator. However I warn you that stories of his demise in May 1945 could be false and he could be still enjoying a fruitful and busy retirement. Contributors be on your guard!
