Zulu on DVD
Zulu is re-released on DVD on 4th November! Starring Stanley Baker, Jack Hawkins, Ulla Jacobbson, James Booth, Michael Caine and Nigel Green, Zulu has become best known for grippingly capturing the tension and terror of combat as wave upon wave of warriors are unleashed on the tiny garrison of Rorke's Drift. The DVD also features a 45 minute "making of" documentary, and is currently only Region 2 (Europe, SA and Asia). Retail price is listed at £19.99, but no doubt there are deals to be had!

Discusson forum
* The much used discussion forum has had a make-over! We have also added a very useful feature - it is now possible to order the discussions by the latest post (reply) in any topic, so you can always see which discussion topics are the most active! Use the "click here" link at the top of the page to cycle between the two systems. The brief description will also always show you the date of the last post in that topic (a much requested feature).
Please give us any feedback you might have, and please also bear in mind that we run this site entirely on the goodwill and kind donations from our visitors (Please see the donations page for more details)... We have created this site entirely from scratch, and the discussion forum is an example of coding that has been created to match the needs of our users. Please consider donating a little something towards the upkeep of RDVC.com, as (understandably) the costs have begun to spiral quite alarmingly.

Multimedia section
A new section 'Multimedia' has been added to the site. It has been a year since our visit to Rorke's Drift, and to mark the occasion, we have edited some of the footage we took at the time. The first of these videos "Rorke's Drift" is now available. It lasts just over 10 minutes, and features some of the features of Rorke's Drift, along with a stirring rendition of the battle for the hospital, by David Charles. The video is available in a number of formats ranging from a streaming Windows Media file for modem users, to a full broadband-enabled version. We have also catered for Macintosh users with a version in QuickTime.
