Hey all,
I recently installed a mod for The Creative Assembly's Napoleon Total War strategy game, which is basically a mod (modification) that allows the player to command troops in battles such as The Battle of Isandlwana and The Battle of Rorke's Drift. It's pretty cool.
The game does a fantastic job in including units from the 1964 and 1979 movies, such as as the 24th regiment, natal native contingent, Lt Chard and Bromehead, Col Durnford and his cavalry, Chelmsford, and much much more. The mod includes maps such as Isandlwana map, which includes the famous mountain, Rorke's drift map, Zululand map, and River Crossing map, and more.
I have not tried all the features and units yet, but also the mod includes a set of campaigns and battle set on the movie "Khartoum".
The game is detailed and highly historically accurate, and I recommend any fanatic who is obsessed with this time period check it out.
