Date | Original Topic | 24th February 2005 | Bayonet combat in theory and practice By Michael Boyle As the subject of bayonet combat occasionally crops up here I thought I'd share this rather well presented article I just came upon:

Haven't had time to get into it in depth yet but the only objection I'd lodge so far is the reliance on wound statistics to evaluate the effectiveness of the bayonet in combat as it's use would often preclude the need for medical attention.(As often was the case with the iklwa.)
