I lived in South Africa for 5 years and have met a few people who were extras in the making of zulu dawn, at the time what the film was about i never knew. I knew about the rorkes drift encounter (who does not!) but the earlier battle i knew nothing of at the time. Now 16 years later i can not get enough of the history of the conflict. I intend to visit the grave of the chap buried in barrow as my work takes me there. Keep on scribbling people i enjoy all the info here......and its a great site.
