Don't know whether this has been raised on the forum yet but here goes anyway. Take a look at the following URL. Forthcoming on DNW auction.

PS There is also a 1/24th KIA. | Date | Replies | 23rd June 2005 | Peter Weedon Lugg's group made £26,500 hammer and the casualty £5,500, the latter being a touch on the high side compared to recent sales.
Peter | 24th June 2005 | Neil Raaff Peter,
Ouch...quite a lot of cash! However, if I was in the position (which sadly I am not) to buy a group of that importance I would be prepared to go the extra mile.
The £5,500 for the 1/24 casualty does seem quite high. I know medals are attracting more investors than usual at present so perhaps that is pushing the price up. Hope there isn't an almighy backlash when things start to cool off!
I take it you were at the sale? What is your area of interest in collecting?
Regards,
Neil |
